Smoothies are an excellent option for any low fat or no fat diet. They are loaded with vitamins and you can often mix fruits and vegetables. I started drinking smoothies for breakfast a few months ago and I have lost weight simply by drinking these for breakfast since most convenient breakfast items are not healthy at all.
- 2 handfuls mixed berries, (blackberries, raspberries, blackcurrants)
- 1 ripe bananas
- 500 ml orange juice
- 400 medium natural yogurt
- 1 tsp vanilla essence
- 1 tsp honey
- 1 squeeze fresh lime juice
Blend 30-45 seconds until desired consistency!
