Smoothies are an excellent way to get your kids away from traditional breakfast foods that aren't so healthy but are very convenient. Smoothies don't need to be be friend in butter and they surely don't need any extra fats added in them (unless of course they are healthy fats!) Parents are constantly becoming more aware of the food we put into our children's bodies. Smoothies are a easy convenient way to help our children eat more healthy fruit and less convenient junk food!

One of the best parts about choosing smoothies as a breakfast option is the convenience factor! Smoothies can be prepared ahead of time in ziplock bags and frozen in the right proportionals so all you need to do is pull the fruit out and add some juice, yogurt or whatever else you like to add.

Remember, that losing weight isn't just about eating right, it's also about living an more active lifestyle. Many people are under the misconception that if you eat right you will lose weight. • 1 Large Banana
  • 1/4 Cup Blueberries
  • 2 Tbsp. Vanilla or Strawberry Greek Yogurt
  • 3/4 Cup Strawberries or 3-5 Large Strawberries
  • 4 Ice Cubes

Directions: Add all ingredients to blender and blend 10-15 seconds. If you want your smoothie to be a little thicker and icier then add more ice cubes. If you want a thinner smoothie you can add less ice or use cold water instead. Personally I prefer a few extra ice cubes but then I blend it a little bit longer. Enjoy!

Before I go into my rant here, I trust everybody had an extraordinary clean eating weekend! What was the most enjoyable healthy meal you had?

Okay, SO, starting 7am early today, I was strolling into my house after a run and had a message from a friend who was requesting that I come and live with her for a week to help her get through some emotional trouble with her now ex boyfriend... so as I was packing and getting ready I started to pack my blender ( I have a Nutribullet so it's not all that large ) and for a I second I thought to myself "should I really bring the Nutribullet?" My conclusion was DUH! It's small and convenient and fits in a bag just as easy as a hair dryer so why the hell not?

One of my favorite things about smoothies is the fact that people that don't normally have them get excited about them, heck, I still get excited about them. Who doesn't like their favorite, fresh or frozen fruits and vegetables ground up into a a delicious, healthy, drinkable meal? Seriously? I know that smoothies alone won't be able to cheer my friend up, but I am hoping that my company, with the help of a healthy smoothie, will be a good start. This is going to be a long week.

Smoothies are popular nowadays. We drink them as a different option for undesirable unhealthy beverages or as a form of meal replacement. Be that as it may, would they say they are truly healthy and good for you? They certainly can be!

A good starter recipe for smoothies with nutritious ingredients and nutritional benefit is to blend juice, fruit or frozen fruit, oil (flax seed oil or a high quality nutritional oil blend) and an excellent nutritional powder.  All fixings ought to be natural and the juice ought to be naturally squeezed and organic when possible. You can utilize any kind of natural product or any sort of fruit juice that you prefer, be creative and try new things.

Add oats to blender and mix until it turns into a fine powder. Add remaining fixings to the blender and mix until smooth. Top with more oats or oat clusters! Serve promptly.

Easy Weight Loss Smoothie Recipe - Pineapple Blueberry Smoothie

Pineapple Blueberry Smoothie

easy weight loss smoothie recipe

Ingredients: 2 Servings

  • 1/2 Cup Pineapple Chunks
  • 1/2 Cup Sliced Peaches
  • 1/2 Cup Blueberries
  • 1/2 Cup Mango Chunks

How To Make The Smoothie Perfect:

If your fruit is frozen then wait for it to partially dethaw. Frozen fruits help to keep the smoothie cold so you need to add less ice.

-Measure out 1 cup of each fruit.

-Measure 2 servings of Pineapple Juice (of any juice of your preference, V8 Splash Peach Mango makes it really tasty)

-Put all fixings into a blender and mix for around 1/2 - 1 minutes on the higher setting until smooth or to your sought consistency.

-On the off chance that you'd like to add protein to this smoothie I do it by including natural yogurt, or greek yogurt. The yogurt makes it much smoother!

-Don't hesitate to include different natural products products or supplements like Green Grass Super Food. Add different fruits or even vegetables and share your favorite combination in the comments!
Hope you enjoy!
